About the beginners course:

The easiest and fastest way to catch your first wave is a course in our Quiksilver surfcamps in Fuerteventura. You can learn to surf with us at any time of the year – we have quality waves, warm water and sunshine which will bring you great enjoyment and satisfaction at discovering what we think is the best sport in the world! At the Quiksilver surfschool Fuerteventura (located in the lovely surf town of Corralejo in the north of Fuerteventura) you will receive instruction from of a team of experienced & qualified multi-lingual surf coaches. Our coaches aim to provide you with a rewarding and safe learning experience - and you will have plenty of fun guaranteed!

Learning objective: To stand and ride on a surfboard.This course is for absolute beginners or people who have had tried surfing before but had difficulty successfully standing on the board, and would like to learn the correct technique.

Learning outcomes: Learn about surf conditions/safety (tides, wind, currents, swell, waves), paddling a surfboard, catching whitewater waves, standing on the surfboard, body position, technique, & balance. Board control & maintaining speed. Students who develop skills faster will also move onto catching unbroken/green waves.

Level required: No previous surfing experience is required. Using a progression orientated teaching process we will introduce you to the basics of surfing.
